Everyone Needs Help Sometime!

When the unexpected happens, often one’s savings can be severely depleted or even wiped out.  The cost of a new roof, your child needing extensive medical care, or a spouse passing, can be the tipping point for someone already struggling to make ends meet.  These are just some of the scenarios that we often hear.

Feed My People can provide food, personal care items, utility assistance, heaters, fans, clothing and/or replacement of household items from the thrift store.  Feed My People is a helping hand when the unexpected happens.  Your donation to Feed My People on Give STL Day can be your heart and your hands in helping others.

Tomorrow, May 6, is Give STL Day. Please help us help those who need a little extra help HERE #GiveSTLDay

Everyone Needs Help Sometime!

The greatest thrill for all of us is reaching a goal. Many of our short-term Help Center patrons find their journey towards goal waylaid with speed bumps that stretch their resolve to reach the finish line.

For those with a goal of finishing their education, extra expenses with tuition, rent, food and baby bills, can be a deterrent to reaching that goal of making a better life for their growing family. Feed My People is here to help! Peace of mind comes with knowing that additional food is available, even for baby, Birthday and Christmas gifts, plus the encouragement from volunteers and staff at each visit. HOPE for a better tomorrow can be found at Feed My People.

Feed My People can be your heart and your hands in helping others to reach their goals. Give STL Day, May 6, is only two days away. Please help us help those who need a little extra help HERE#GiveSTLDay

Everyone Needs Help Sometime!

Many of those who turn to Feed My People are “short-term” members of our family. Often they are laid-off skilled workers that require supplemental food assistance for their families. It’s embarrassing and difficult to ask for food when you’ve never had to before. Feed My People understands and strives to treat everyone that asks for help with respect and dignity.

In addition to supplemental or emergency food, all pantry patrons are encouraged to meet with our job counselor to update resume’s and learn about employment opportunities in our community.

We all know someone that has needed help and realize that at any time, we might need help, too. Feed My People can be your heart and your hands in helping others. Give STL Day, May 6, is only three days away. Please help us help those who need a little extra help HERE#GiveSTLDay
