Cole Hammel, a candidate to receive a Master of Public Administration this summer from SIUE, is working currently at Feed My People developing a training to help interested volunteers better meet the needs of people who are struggling.

“Sometimes someone just needs someone to talk with, to pray with,” said Karen Lanter, executive director.

Referrals and additional community services are on tap as Cole continues to his work. Stay tuned.

An Evening of Mind Teasing Fun

Decade Dilemmas, our third virtual trivia night, was a peek through the 50s to the 80s with sixty questions that gave our 125+ players a walk down memory lane and an evening of mind teasing fun. No matter which of those decades you grew up in, had children in, or would prefer to forget, the evening was a success for players and FMP, alike.

Thanks to Shawn Sanner for hosting, Benson Oiyer for technical expertise and of course, our guests, for making Decade Dilemmas an enjoyable evening.
