FMP High Ridge Blessing Box

Feed My Poeple High Ridge started putting an emergency “Blessings Box” outside for those that may pass by in need of food after hours. For several days nothing happened. Then last week, a visitor was spotted on the security cameras. He came pedaling in on his bike, stopped at the gate and walked up to the vegetables table and looked in the box. The man took out a selection, went back to his bike and sat on the railing while he had a bite. The next morning when staff went out to get the box, they found a gift sitting on top of it. The man had left 35¢ on the box, maybe all he had, but he was paying it forward.

FMP Receives Grant from Bayer Fund

Feed My People announced today it received a grant for $15k from Bayer Fund, for the packaging, storage and distribution of produce, and shelf stable items.

"This grant will not only provide support to our organization, but also the community we serve by allowing us to distribute food safely," stated Feed My People Executive Director, Karen Lanter.
