Feed My People was founded in 1982 by Carol and John DeGuire to meet the growing needs of the poor in South St. Louis County. “We treat each person who comes to us for help with dignity. Besides their daily needs, we try to give them hope for a brighter future, and let them know that we care and that God cares.”

We Have A Strong Mission

Feed My People, a Christian inter-denominational organization, strives to show God’s love and compassion to all His people, but particularly to His people in need.
Our primary goal was to provide food, but the need and opportunity to do more for our clients expanded our vision to include another office in Fenton MO, opened in 1989. This office moved to High Ridge in 1997 and serves those in need living in southwest St. Louis County and northwest Jefferson County. Serving 16 zip codes from the Mississippi River to Pacific at the Franklin County Line, and from I-44 to the Meramec River and beyond, Feed My People is one of the largest organizations of its kind in the St. Louis area.
Today, Feed My People has over 14 programs, including a Thrift Store at each location as primarily a service to our clients, but is also open to the public.

Feed My People is supported by donations from individuals, schools, churches, businesses, foundations and community groups. Feed My people has grown to an organization helping over 44,000 people each year.

An amazing resource for our family when we are in need. Also a wonderful place to shop for quality clothes and other household needs that is affordable.

I have volunteered there for going in to four years. And I urge everyone to give a couple hours a day maybe once a week the feeling of helping people is unbelievable.

I think Feed My People is a great organisation. We donate all of our stuff to them and only them.
Mary Tribi
I only work there on Wednesdays but it is a great place to donate any extra hours you have in a day! We need more volunteers! Easy work and very worthwhile. You will walk a way feeling blessed. Hope to see you there!

Feed My People receives donations from individuals, churches, businesses, foundations and community groups in both cash and food donations.  Through our partnership with the St. Louis Foodbank and Operation Food Search, we receive additional food items.

Donations of clothing and small household items are accepted at both of our Thrifty Hanger thrift stores.  The stores are open to the public and proceeds for all sales are used to support our program operations.

Feed My People holds fundraising events throughout the year which help us spread the message of our programs and services in the community..
