Special guest performance featuring the Soulard Blues Band for 2 - 4 pm

We need coordinators to recruit walkers as a group, individuals or families to walk, and we also need coporate sponsors (a great way to show the community how much you care about our hungry neighbors in need.)

If you do not wish to walk you can simply register yourself with a $10.00 donation for a t-shirt and come to enjoy the show, which is free.

Special Missouri Tax Credit for Donations

Fifty percent of the value of any food or cash you donated to Feed My People (or any food pantry) up to $2,500 can be taken directly off the amount of your tax liability and would be entered on line 37 of your MO-1040, miscellaneous tax credits. You need to fill out Missouri forms MO-FPT and MO-TC to take this credit. The requested alpha code on Form MO-TC is FPT and the name is the Food Pantry Tax. These forms can be printed out from your computer by going to the Missouri Department of Revenue web site and then to Miscellaneous Tax Credits. The web site is www.doc.mo.gov/tax/axcredit/ftp.htm .

Our mission has expanded greatly over the years...and has built up to be the largest food pantry in the St. Louis Metropolitan area, distributing over $2 million in food alone, along with our many programs designed to help clients get on their feet and become self-sustaining. We are able to do this only due to the support of the community--our donors, volunteers, board members, staff, and most importantly--God.

Our motto for this year is "HERE TO SERVE." We are here to serve our clients, our Thrift Store Customers, our volunteers, our staff, and most important, our God who set the model for serving. At Feed My People, we are called by our brother to also be available to serve others. We also need to remember that we are called by Him to follow in his footsteps and that means being available to serve whomever He sends to us at all times and in all places.

And the more He does this, the more His nature becomes our nature.

Here to serve all, Here to love all, Here to become Christ to all--this is our calling, each and all of us.
