A GREAT BIG 'Thanks' to all who participated in the Manna March this year which took place Sept. 30, 2012 It was a great success and we raised more money then we did last year! The Top Churches who raised the most were St. Bernadette South County Church of the Nazarene South Side Church of God St. Thomas Holy Spirit St. Luke's Methodist And the top group who raised the most was The Staff Group! Together..we can make a difference!

_________________________________________   The 4th Annual "Will Work for Food" Fundraiser (Which was Sponsored by: Waterproof Solutions)  was a really great success and a whole lot of fun! A very special "thanks" goes out to Tricia and Stephen Burton who worked in conjunction with Mary Hettenhausen from our High Ridge Office to totally organize this event And also to all those that helped! A JOB WELL DONE!

_________________________________________   Volunteer Awards Each year we give out "special awards" for "The Volunteer of the Year" and the "Heart Award" recipients for the previous year. And these people are voted on by their fellow volunteers. The "Heart Award" honors the volunteer who reflects the "Heart" of Feed My People by their ethical treatment of clients, donors, customers and fellow volunteers and has a heart of gold. The "Volunteer of the Year" recognizes a volunteer who has provided extraordinary service for the betterment of the organization and believes in the mission and vision of the future. From Lemay From High Ridge   _________________________________________   Feed My People's Food Drive Many thanks for Mary Prost, who headed up the Feed My People food drive this year, and also to the many volunteers who drove or went door to door not only to distribute bags, but to pick them back up, or those who sorted and packed food, and also those who worked two weekends in a row, which was much needed and greatly appreciated. We increased the bags we put out this year, so the returns were even bigger and a little over 7,000 lbs of food were collected. So, THANK YOU to everyone for a job well done! _________________________________________   A VERY SPECIAL THANKS... To everyone who helped make our client picnic a real success, and especially to SERATOMA who sent a lot of volunteers and also covered all the cost of the food... and also thanks to the management team at Parkside Apartments who helped us promote this event to all of the residents... It took place in Jefferson Barracks Park and A good time was had by all !!!

_________________________________________ Easter Baskets for Kids Held March 31, 2012 Fenton Walmart Parking Lot Sponsored by the Over the Road Camping Club Easter Baskets for kids, food supplies, personal care items and cash were donated by people from the community. A "special thank you " to Alan And Christine and the rest of the Camping Club for all their hard work and giving away chances to win a lot of camping equipment to contributors. A fun day was had by all!

Trivia Night 2012

The 2012 Feed My People Trivia Night was a great success. Thanks in part to the showmanship and pizzazz of our good friend, KMOX legendary radio personality Johnny Rabbit. Ten fantastic rounds of trivia, good friends, a wonderful silent auction and a great prize for canned good donations. This year's highlight in addition to Johnny Rabbit was the addition of premium tables with designated bar runners. This proved a big hit to the attendees.

We are already planning our 2013 Trivia Night now, so stay tuned and learn how you can be a part of this great annual fundraiser for Feed My People.

Feed My People 30^th Anniversary

Fashion Show & Luncheon

The 30^th Anniversary of Feed My People was celebrated in a big way on Saturday April 28^th with a fashion show and luncheon. The event kicked off with an energetic hip hop dance routine performed by Gift Dance Crew. Following brief welcoming remarks by Feed My People's Roy Wunsch, a very special video tribute to the past 30 years was shown. This was followed by a high class fashion show featuring fashions from the Thrift Stores of Feed My People and featuring a wide range of models that included FMP volunteers and clients as well as professional models from Barbazon School of Modeling. A patriotic solute to the troops featuring red, white and blue clothing was enhanced by the surprise appearance of American Legion Post #162 color guard. A standing ovation kicked off this sentimental portion of the show. The finale included a bride in a wedding gown and the tossing of the bouquet into the audience. Ed Kovarik, President of the Feed My People Board of Directors presented FMP Founders John & Carol DeGuire with a proclamation from the Governor of Missiouri and a

citation naming April 28^th 2012 Feed My People Day in St. Louis County. In addition to a great lunch everybody who attended had a great time.
