Our counselors can provide a client with a review of income and expenses over a five-week period and then help to develop a working budget that is both satisfactory to the client and meets Feed My People Guidelines.
Our self-help center provides various services and literature to our clients. We refer many to other organizations for those who are out of our service area or if we are unable to help them with their specific needs.
Since Feed My People is an inter-denominational Christian organization, we make religious material available to our clients. Area churches are encouraged to display their literature in the client waiting area. Bibles are available to all clients upon request.
Starting in April 2007 with a two-year grant provided by the Missouri Foundation for Health, the WELL Program began. Encouraging our clients to have healthy and active lifestyles, we perform cooking classes, taste tests and education on proper nutrition and physical activity being the basic of this program. WELL stands for WALK - EAT - LEARN - LIVE your way to a healthier you!
